Multi-Engine

Multi-Engine rating opens the gates to new and exciting aircraft. Most high-performance and long-range aircraft have more than one engine. This rating gives you the knowledge necessary to safely and effectively control a multiple engine aircraft with retractable gear.

How long will it take to get my Multi-Engine Rating?
Certification can be accomplished in one week of dedicated flying.

What kind of Aircraft will I train in ?

    Multi-Engine Requirements

    • 18 Years of Age
    • The ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
    • 2nd-Class FAA medical $95
    • Private Pilot License
    • US Citizen or TSA Approval

    Multi-Engine Course

    20 hrs of Flight Training
    • 20 hrs. PA-34 Dual – $5,400
    Ground School
    • CFI ($50 × 10hrs) – $500
    • FAA Written Exam – $150

    Net Cost – $6,050


    Additional Expenses
    • Commercial Pilot Kit – $180
    • Aviation Headset - $149
    • FAA Flight Test – $500
