American Flight Training, the flight school branch of Wayman Aviation, has developed a leading edge Professional Pilot Program. This Part 141/61 course of study takes full-time students from zero hours to 252 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) experience and Commercial Multi-Engine Certification in 6 months. Cadets that want to make the most of their time in the US can opt for 737 or A320 Type Ratings offered by Pan Am International.
Students complete full ground schools blended with computer based training courses. In aircraft flights are flown from Wayman Aviation’s American Flight Training facilities at Opa Locka Executive airport 20 minutes north of Miami International.
Students will experience a broad range of airspace from Class B, MIA is one of the busiest airports in the country, to non-towered airstrips. Florida offers a wide range of destinations and facilities to fly to.

50 hours are spent developing simulator skills in Advance Flight Training Devices (AFTD) during instrument training and X-C time building.
